Unfortunately the Supermoon Eclipse was almost completely obscured by cloud cover here in the Raleigh area of North Carolina. However at times the cloud cover was thin enough to get a glimpse of the eclipse. Using my Astro-Video Systems MK-IV video astronomy camera, mounted on Explore Scientific AR102 refractor on a manually controlled alt-azm mount, I captured what I could through the cloud cover. I had to play with the camera settings until I found a good view. Unfortunately I could never confirm I had good focus and I was also unable to use any of the camera’s features to improve/clean up the view given the use of the manually controlled mount and that I was really pushing the settings.

Here are final results:

Clear and Steady Skies!
